ba. are one of the most distinctive bands in Lithuania’s alternative music scene. Led by Benas Aleksandravičius, over more than a decade the band have built an unmistakable, bold sound and a crowd that belts out every word from the heart, rising above the jagged roar of guitars and drums. 

On their fifth album, MIXTAPE VOL. 1, ba. abandon the safety of familiar formulas and dive headfirst into experimentation. Created over four intense months, the record brings together clashing genres, samples, unexpected ideas and more guest artists than ever before in the band’s music. Most of the lyrics were written in Morocco, while the album itself moves through journeys, cities, new experiences and the struggle to hold on to yourself in a constantly changing world.
