DJ JM’s journey through the shifting landscapes of the European club scene is a story of constant reinvention and forward motion. Originally from Vilnius, Lithuania, he first made his mark in the UK’s percussive club underground during the late 2010s, quickly establishing himself as a distinctive and versatile producer. Collaborations with London-based artists such as TSVI, Wallwork, and NKC played a key role in shaping his early trajectory. His rhythmically intricate, sample-rich productions found homes on labels including Even The Strong, Goon Club Allstars, and Nervous Horizon, alongside a series of self-released EPs that showcased his singular approach to club music.
Here today in 2026, JM unveils the Rat Race EP, released on FEVER AM, the go-ahead imprint run by Rhyw and Mor Elian – marking the beginning of his collaboration with the label.
Building on the momentum of his recent work, the project sees his signature rhythmic precision evolve into uplifting, weird, and driving melodies, layered with striking vocal elements that cut through the mix. With Rat Race, JM steps further into expressive territory, balancing raw dancefloor functionality with a playful unpredictability. The EP stands as a vivid new chapter in his catalogue, reaffirming his commitment to constant modern motion.
