Eglė Naujokaitytė, known as Muk, is a DJ, singer, radio host and a general enthusiast of unusual, experimental and non-conformist music. She has previously participated in several musical projects in different parts of the world and her work has been released on labels such as Bordello A Parigi (NL), Industrial Coast (UK) and Elektropalast (DE). In the field of contemporary and sound art, she has presented her work in Lithuania (CAC Vilnius, Malonioji 6). Nowadays he is one half of the minimal synth duo Gris Futuro. As a DJ and selector, she stands out for her eclectic selections: known not only for her esoteric Fourth World mixes, but also on the dancefloor, where she usually delivers a blend of shadows, psychedelics, synthesizers, and machine rhythms, where the darkness sounds light and vice versa, like some kind of industrial-funk. Eglė has played at various festivals and clubs in Lithuania (DT Camp, Yaga), Mexico (Japan, Yuyu) and Europe (://about blank, Paloma, Griessmuehle). She has also produced shows for Berlin’s Cashmere Radio (The Hidden Reverse, Casa del Obrero Mundial), Lyon’s LYL Radio (Canary Girl Island) and Radio Vilnius (Musings & Drummings). He currently hosts a weekly show about the history of alternative music on LRT Opus “Magiška muzika: and is recording his full-length album with Gris Futuro as well as touring Europe.
