Deividas Vytautas Aukščiūnas (b. 1996, Chicago, USA) lives and works between Germany and Lithuania. He is currently enrolled at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste Nürnberg as a student on the MA Live Art Forms program. In 2024, he received his MA in Contemporary Art Practice from the Royal College of Art and in 2014, a BA in Film from the University of Westminster. 

Through video, performance and installation Aukščiūnas draws attention to the dynamicsbetween subjects, objects and the spaces they inhabit. Exploring repetition, boredom and spectacle as potential filled conditions that defy everyday experiences.
