Edible City Day
On September 13th, join us for the Edible City Day at Šilainiai Gardens in Kaunas.
The program features a mini outdoor conference with guest speakers from:
- Gehl Architects (Denmark)
- Tallinn municipality (Estonia)
- Šilainiai gardens initiative (Lithuania)
We’ll explore how urban gardening, public spaces, and grassroots action can lead to systemic change in a workshop following presentations.
After the mini-conference, you will be able to view the on-site works of AUDRA festival artists Lithic Alliance and Kamilė Krasauskaitė and listen to the musical program. There will also be three different themed walks around the mysterious 8th fort, during which you will be able to learn about the fort's biodiversity, the story of the Šilainiai Gardens initiative, and the history of the 8th fort.

On September 14th, we invite you to the "POPup Co-Creators' Celebration" at Šilainiai Gardens in Kaunas. Join us for plant weaving as part of a collaborative process, contributing to an artistic installation, and for stew-making together with artists. Come celebrate the closing of a creative journey that began in April.
