High atop Paroda Hill, in the tower of the Oak Grove Library, is a visitor-inaccessible book storage. More precisely, it's the largest collection of publications in public libraries in Lithuania! During the festival, we invite you to take part in a tour of this kingdom of books, where you will learn what and how it is stored, how a book from this collection reaches the reader, see the oldest, smallest, largest, and heaviest books here, admire the city panorama through the upper-floor windows of the tower. You'll also have the chance to try out the profession of a librarian and find a book ordered from this collection!
During the festival, two tours to the tower of the book storage will be organized. Due to the limited number of spots, we invite you to fill out the registration. Registration will open on May 24th in the Facebook event. Tour language: Lithuanian.
Exact meeting location for the tour will be communicated in the registration confirmation letter.
