Sara Larsen Stiansen (b. 1987) holds an MFA from the Art Academy in Bergen and a BFA from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm.

Her artistic practice focuses primarily on video, often combined with photography, archival material and sculptural elements, and centres around site-specific phenomena. Somewhere in between the poetic, the mundane, serious and the playful, her works are attempts to create strange stories and tales to explore sensibilities, the body as a site for transformation, and reality.
